Angie Sue Johnson O’Bryan
Memorial Services for Angie Sue Johnson O’Bryan will be at 10:00, May 29th at the Crawford Community Building with burial following at the Marsland Cemetery. Lunch will follow back at the Community Building.
Angie was born on May 7, 1980 in Chadron, Nebraska to Webb And Dianne (Steffe)Johnson. She went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2024.
Angie was a bright, loving caring person. She had a contagious laugh, big smile, and big heart. She loved her family and friends but most of all her daughters calling them” her munchkins”. She will be remembered as a true fan of the Dallas cowboys and John Wayne. She also loved animals especially dogs and her horse Cinnamon.
Angie was raised on the family ranch in rural Dawes County. She spent many years growing up riding horses, playing in the canyons, and loving life. As she grew, she came into her own. She was educated in a two-room school at Belmont and was the valedictorian of her Crawford High Class of 1998. She was a letterman in volleyball and basketball, earned many academic and sports awards, and was Dawes County 4-H Queen. Angie graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor’s in Business and Accounting. She worked in various businesses in Chadron over the years, mostly at Chamberlain Chapel, where she helped many families with compassion and love.
Angie married Mike O’Bryan in 2009, and they had three beautiful daughters: Lillian Sue, Averie Dianne, and Ellie Mae Ruth.
Angie was a friend to many and would brighten your day with her big personality.
She was preceded in death by sister Myriah and Grandmother Shirley Steffe.
Angie is survived by her Parents Webb and Dianne of Crawford, Daughters Lilli, Averie and Ellie, Sisters Haley(Art )Anders of Crawford, Kelsey(Tehl) Kesler of Blair, Grandparents Myrna and Arnold Johnson of Crawford, Dirl Steffe of Hot Springs, Friend Gary Landreth, and Ex husband Mike O’Bryan, plus numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been designated for her daughters’ education and can be sent to Chamberlin Chapel.
