Bonnie Belle McCue, 81, of Martin passed away Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Bennett County Hospital.

She was born November 7, 1937 in Martin, South Dakota to Cecil and Frances McCue. Bonnie attended school in Bennett County and was majorette in the band in high school. She belonged to Job’s Daughters International and served as Honored Queen.

Bonnie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for more than 50 years. Because of her special people skills, she was known as your favorite bartender working at several places throughout the community including many years at the Martin Municipal Liquor Store.

Bonnie enjoyed playing cards, bingo, being with friends, spoiling her kitties and was a devoted fan of her beloved Denver Broncos. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone along with an infectious laugh. She was strong, tough, and a wonderful woman and mom.

Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, Harold, Clyde and Wayne.

Survivors include her daughters Jodi Rae McCue and Kathy Anderson; brother Clark (Shirley) McCue; sisters-in-law Jackie McCue and Pat McCue; a granddaughter, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday November 2, 2019, 2:00 pm at St. Katharine’s Episcopal Church in Martin, SD with Janet Speidel officiating. Inurnment will be at the Martin Community Cemetery. A memorial has been established and donations may be sent in care of Bennett County Funeral Service, PO Box 65, Martin, SD 57551.
