Brett Matthew Schilling

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Brett Matthew, who left us on November 20, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on September 28, 1986, in Chadron, NE. Brett, or better known as Mr. B, was a bright soul who brought immense joy to everyone he met. Brett’s presence was always full of warmth and light.

Brett is survived by his heartbroken parents, George and Twyla Schilling, his beloved siblings Alisha Scoggan (Gabe), Valerie Moody (Kent), Shane Schilling (Jasmine) and a large extended family who adored him, and many friends he made along the way. He was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Ted and Muriel Schilling, and Jennie Wasserburger; whom he cherished deeply.

A celebration of Bretts life will take place on December 13, 2025, at the Napa Building in Crawford at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and celebrate the beautiful soul that was Brett Schilling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department.

Brett, you will forever remain in our hearts. We love you endlessly.
