Cheriella (Cherry) Marchant passed away Dec 22, 2022 in Chadron Nebraska. She was born October 14, 1943, in Denver, CO. She loved her husband, their two dogs, her family, and Denver Broncos football.

When she was younger, she played women’s softball, and she enjoyed bowling with her family. She traveled to many bowling tournaments with her mother and her children.  She was on several bowling leagues with her brother Bert and sister-in-law Donna.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, John Marchant of Chadron, NE; Son, Jimmy Inmon of Cheyenne, WY; daughter, Tabatha (Michael) Smith of Jonesboro, GA; stepdaughter, Lisa Downard of Marysville, KS; stepdaughter, Lori Marchant of Chadron, NE; grandchildren, Clara, Renee, Lindsey, Chase, and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Inmon; father, John Inmon; siblings, Dianne, Fred, Bert; grandson, Jonathan Inmon.

John and Cherry were married Jan 31, 1988 on Super Bowl Sunday. The teams were the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins. After the ceremony everyone sat down to watch the game. Sadly, Denver lost, but Cherry still loved to watch them through her last days.

Memorial arrangements have been made by the family on Saturday August 19th, 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, NE. Donations can be sent in care of Chamberlain Chapel.
