David Dieriex

David Francis Dieriex was born February 10,1932, in Rushville Nebraska and died March 15, 2024, in Hay Springs Nebraska he was the only son and 5th child born to Frank and Elizabeth (Heesacker) Dieriex. 

He graduated from Rushville High School in 1951 then joined the Navy and proudly served his country for four years during the Korean conflict.

He married Gwen Jungck in 1954 and when he was through serving his country, they moved back to the family ranch on the Niobrara River to raise their family of 6 children, where he taught them all a strong work ethic. After they moved to town, he spent a lot of time going to the place he loved the most along the river.

Waiting to greet him in heaven is his beloved son Chris, his parents, sisters Frances, Alberta, Marie, and Eileen and many other family and friends. Left to miss him is his wife of 69 years Gwen, his children Rodger Dieriex, Shirley (Roy) Evans, Bev (Bryan) Young, Steve Dieriex, and John (Jenny) Dieriex. 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
