Deanna Scherbarth Ferguson of Hay Springs, NE passed away January 21, 2024.
Deanna was born in Rushville, NE on February 22, 1952. She grew up and attended school in the Hay Springs area. After college she worked as a draftsman in Colorado Springs, CO and Scottsbluff, NE.
Deanna loved deep sea fishing and hunting for wild hogs in Texas. She also loved the Black Hills of South Dakota, especially Deadwood.
Deanna is survived by her son Kelly Schafer, sister Rita, brothers Jim, Tim and Daryl, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Stan and Rose Scherbarth.
