Funeral Services for Deborah Garner of Chadron, Nebraska will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chadron, Nebraska. Burial will be held at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM central time. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5-7 PM

at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska.

Born on March 12, 1940 in Eureka, CA to the late Luther and Myrtle Thomas.

May 9, 1969 Deborah and Kenneth L. Garner were married. In 2009 they retired and moved to Chadron, NE.

Surviving - husband Kenneth L. Garner, daughters - Sheri Russell (Randy) of Ohio, Mona Hill of Maryland, Tamorah Brauer (Timothy) of Texas and son Kenneth Joe Garner (Chris) of Maryland.

11 grandchildren,  18 great grandchildren and 4 foster grandchildren - Kayden, Mylee, Harlan and Case Kvistad.

Brother Daniel Thomas (Mary) of Texas sister Esther Hensen (Lyle) of CA and sister in law Becky Thomas of CA.

Preceding in death Richard and Elizabeth Garner (parents in law)

Brothers - David Thomas, Samuel Thomas, and Jonathan Thomas.

A memorial has been established Our Savior’s Lutheran Church or the American Legion Auxiliary and donations may be sent in care of

Chamberlain Chapel, PO BOX 970, CHADRON, NE 69337.
