Dodi Meints

Dodi Meints, 73, passed away August 26, 2024 at Chadron Community Hospital.She was born July 12, 1951 in Beach, ND to Art and Elsie (Homrighausen) Daugherty. Dodi attended school in Crawford and Chadron, graduating from Assumption Academy in 1969.In 1970, Dodi married Gary Chasek, and soon after son KC was born. She and Gary divorced but remained lifelong friends.Dodi fell in love and married Jim Meints January 12, 1990. Daughters Katie and Jessie were born in the coming years. Jim passed away in 2020.Survivors include son KC (Rebecca), daughters Katie (Lonnie), and Jessie. Grandsons Beaux Chasek, Jackson Chasek, Kooper Mead, and Kaisyn Mead. Granddaughter Kamdin Mead, and great grandson Jaden. Brother Kenneth (Jean), and sister Alma (Larry).She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Emil, and husband Jim.
