Donald Baldwin

Donald Baldwin, age 82, passed away on February 12, 2019 at Countryside Care in Gordon, Nebraska.

Donald was born in North Platte, Nebraska on June 14, 1936 to Thomas Clinton Mullin Baldwin and Grace Ruth Sheldon Baldwin. Donald attended 1st through 5th grade in North Platte, Nebraska and 6th grade at Washington School in Casper, Wyoming.

At the age of 16 Donald had his first job working for Judd Tire. He worked there for 20 years. At the age of 36 Donald moved to Longmont, Colorado and worked for Construction Tire in Commerce City as an off-road tire repair man for 20 years. Donald then worked for Holmes Tire in Longmont for 2 years.

When Donald was 58, he moved back to Casper, Wyoming and worked for JB Brewer and Company until retirement in 1990. Donald retired in Crawford, Nebraska and lived there until he became ill. Donald then lived at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs, Nebraska then Parkview Lodge in Rushville, Nebraska and then Countryside Care in Gordon, Nebraska.

Donald loved to work and keep busy. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Torrington, Wyoming until his move to Nebraska.

Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Eugene Baldwin and his parents. He is survived by his sister Patricia Baldwin.
