Funeral Services for Jim Nordstrom of Chadron, Nebraska will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron, Nebraska. Visitations will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska.

James Lee Nordstrom passed away on April 18, 2022 at Chadron Hospital in Chadron, NE at the age of 81.

James was born May 21,1940 in Chadron, Nebraska.  He was the son of Charles and Cleo Nordstrom and grandson of Earl and Maude Burk.  James was a long-time railroader, an avid golfer and lifetime runner.

James married Anita Myers Nordstrom on January 20, 1964.

He is survived by his wife Anita; two children Rodney and Kathy; sister Carol (Bing) Decker; nephews Michael (Crystal) Decker, Charlie (Shellie) Decker; great nephew Carson Decker; brother-in-law Gary Myers and family; stepson Randy and family; numerous grandchildren and two close friends, Dino and J.A.

A memorial has been established for First Baptist Church of Chadron. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
