Joan McGinnis

Joan Del (Jackson) McGinnis was born on April 18th, 1935, and was taken to spend eternity with her lord and savior Jesus Christ, on February 10, 2026. She was born in Port Townsend, Washington, to Robert Seymour Jackson and Leola Margaret (Crandell) Jackson.

After School at Chimacum Schools in Chimacum, Washington, Joan met her soon-to-be husband and love of her life, Harold McGinnis. The two were joined in wedlock on December 11, 1954. For the next 40 years, they served the lord on several mission Fields in small communities throughout the US.

Joan played piano, and Harold shared the gospel. Joan always left the door open to whoever came in, as God had given her the gift of hospitality.

Joan was preceded in death by her mom and dad. Her brother Bobby, son Ed, and grandson Dustin. She is survived by her husband, Harold. Sons Larry (Tami), Jeff, her daughter Joy (Alan), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
