Julie Ellicott

Julie Sue Ellicott, 84 years old, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. In her final days she was surrounded and cared for by her loving family. She devoted her life to faith and family. After raising her family and dedicating many years to homemaking, Julie studied bookkeeping at Dalton Junior College. She then worked as a bookkeeper and later as an income tax preparer. Above all, she was a loving mother who cherished time with her family, especially her beloved grandson. Julie also enjoyed playing bridge with family and friends, loved family gatherings with her extended family, and took great interest in family genealogy, researching her heritage back many generations.

Julie was proceeded in death by her parents, Emery and Marcella Zimmerman; her brother, Micheal Zimmerman; and her daughters, Kimberly Ellicott and Brenda Ellicott.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Ellicott; her son Robert Ellicott (Diane Ellicott); her grandson, Ryan Ellicott; and her brother David Zimmerman.

Julie will be laid to rest in her hometown of Harrison, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, please consider a financial donation to Memorial United Methodist Church of Harrison Nebraska; the church where Julie grew up and was married over 67 years ago.
