Larry Horst August 10, 1934 - April 27, 2014 Age: 79 Residence: Greeley, CO Lawrence "Larry" Lyle Horst, 79, of Greeley, CO, died Sunday morning April 27, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 10, 1934, to Herman and Emma Horst in Dallas, SD. Larry was most recently employed as a greeter at the 23rd street Wal-Mart in Greeley. Previous Colorado employment was working for his brother at Horst Company as a sheet metal specialist. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, JoAnn Horst; three daughters, Rhonda Miller and Deborah Horst of Crawford, NE and Sandy Carrisosa of Mira Loma, CA; five grandchildren, Brian Miller, Angie Miller, Kim Walker, Jeff Sinclair and Shawna Harrer; ten great-grandchildren; five step-children, Holly Van Arsdale of Greeley, Brad Van Arsdale of Sioux Falls, SD, Traci Van Arsdale of San Mateo, CA, Scotty Van Arsdale of Nowata, OK, Bret Van Arsdale of Tulsa, OK; three step-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Percy of Chadron, NE; and a loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crawford, Nebraska. Interment will be at the Crawford City Cemetery in Crawford, Nebraska following the funeral services.
