Linda D. Feddersen was born to Ed and Kathy Voss on June 1st, 1951 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. From the time of her birth, Linda would live a life of adventure. Traveling and moving throughout her younger years, Linda would move from Las Vegas to Montana to Wyoming, and finally settle in Hays Spring Nebraska after meeting the love of her life, Mike Feddersen. Linda and Mike would build a life and he springs raising three children Stephanie, Courtney, and Samantha.
Her devout faith in the Lord was boldly displayed in her unwavering dedication to her church and her family. Although, in the end she lived a colorful life. Linda always walked a black and white path. There was always only right and wrong, with no room for shades of gray. Anyone who knew Linda knew her thoughts and opinions were always right, and if you didn’t agree, she would tell you why you were wrong. For most of us, it was deeply disheartening when she always ended up right! Ha! Ha!
Linda’s life was not an easy one and was often more complicated by those of us who loved her she would drop everything when given the chance for the people that she loved to come to their assistance these people included her parents, (Ed and Kathy Voss), her brother, (Less Voss), her husband, Mike, her children and their spouses, (Stephanie and Brent Benstead, Samantha Grimes and Mike Romick, Courtney and Traci Feddersen), her beloved grandchildren (Teagan, Trevin, Tagert, Wyatt, Makenna, Ashley, Landon, and Rion), as well as nieces and nephews, and anyone else she brought into her circle as family.
Linda passed away at the UC health center in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 26, 2023 with Mike, Stephanie and Samantha by her side. Linda’s last days and hours were spent in the company of those who loved her. The family matriarch spent the last moments of her life in the same manner as she had lived her life..... issuing directing orders. “Don’t sell my cows. Don’t fight with your sister. Keep praying. Forgive everyone. Let me go... I’ll see you again.”
