Lois E. Bair

November 22nd, 1937 – July 18th, 2025

Celebrate Lois’ life with us on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. Service will start at 10:00am at The Presbyterian Church. 

Lois Esther Miner was born on November 22nd, 1937 in Superior, Iowa to Fenard and Myrtle Miner. She grew up in Iowa and met Richard at school in the small town of Superior. The two were married at 19 and ended up bringing 3 children into the world: Steve, Shelly and Scott. Who then grew the family tree to 24 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois’ life revolved around her family and Bair Ford, which kept her and her husband Richard busy up until their 80’s. You could always find Lois working the books down at Bair Ford, or attending her grandchildren’s sporting or school events – she nor Richard never missed a family or community event.

Lois is survived by daughter Shelly Fair and her husband Rick Fair; son Scott Bair and his wife Maxie Bair; grandson Mathew Risse and wife Amanda Risse, great-grandchildren Juliet, Gavin and Jordan; grandson Keith Risse and wife Leslie Risse, great-grandchildren Tyson, Gracie, Maddux and Kendyll; grandson Aaron Risse, great-grandchildren Preston, Hayden and Emmie; grandson Justin Risse and wife Sadia Risse, great-grandchildren Prevah and Jaxx; granddaughter Brooke Bair and partner Abe Gorjoux, great-granddaughter Ehvi; granddaughter Shawna Evans and fiancé Anthony Muilenburg, great-grandchildren Myles, Mikhail and Mesa; grandson Dayre Evans; granddaughter Alexis Bair.

Lois is preceded in death by her son Steven Bair, husband Richard “Dick” Bair, parents Fenard and Myrtle Miner, brothers Dick and Charles and sister Eleanor.
