Mae Landreth

Margaret Mae Landreth, born February 28, 1930, to Phillip and Emma Shoop in Whitewood, South Dakota, passed away October 9, 2022, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, Hay Springs, Nebraska.

Mae married Floyd E. Landreth and together they had seven children: Floyd, Jim, Kenny, Robert, Jerry, Phil, and Lila. Mae worked as a waitress, did house cleaning and other odd jobs, but mainly spent her time as a housewife and mother.

She liked to sing and dance, listen to music, and play cards. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and having a good time.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband Floyd E., son Kenny Landreth, granddaughter Barbie Landreth, her parents, 7 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her children Floyd Landreth, Jim Landreth, Robert Landreth, Jerry Landreth, Phil Landreth and Lila Herman and grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, Rushville, Nebraska.
