Mavis Trylick

Mavis Leola Trylick (May) met her Savior face to face three days after her 101st birthday. (April 23,1925-April 26, 2026)

She and her husband, Robert spent their life starting and pastoring churches until their retirement years.

She had a zest for life which everyone that met her noticed .

If there was an activity going on, she wanted to be there. It didn’t matter if it was a branding or a baby shower, or anything in between!

She will be greatly missed. But knowing that she had been longing to go for so long and knowing that she is finally reaping her reward in heaven, we are rejoicing.

She is survived by her loving family: Children; Ruth Annette Tangwall (Donald), Philip Trylick (Eileen), Barbara Shultz (Dane)

Grandchildren; Tony Tangwall (Tracey), Tonya Watson (Ray), Tracy Schuler, Shawn Trylick (Linda), Aaron Trylick (Marie), Allison Shultz, Jesse Shultz (Lydia) 25 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and several angel grandbabies.

Her Celebration of Life service is being held at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska, Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10 AM.
