Megan Marie (Megarita) Campbell

October 21, 1997 – October 31, 2018

Megan Marie Campbell was born October 21, 1997 in Louisville, Colorado to Cindy Robertson Ober and Danny Campbell.

The family relocated to Lusk, Wyoming in 2001 and then to Chadron, Nebraska in 2015. Megan attended schools in Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, graduating from Chadron High School in 2016. She was employed by Safeway,  in the deli.

Megan loved her music, Xbox, the color orange, and the Broncos.  The magic of unicorns was only overshadowed by her passion for Bronco Lineman, Derek Wolfe. Her heart belonged to her nieces and nephews, and she mothered and cared for them with a skill far beyond her years. She held the dream of someday becoming a history teacher.

Megan is survived by mother, Cindy, stepfather, Tim Ober, sister, Alicia (Jeff) Van Gundy, brother, Stewart (Jessie Mae) Campbell, maternal grandmother Tommie Robertson, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Megan is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Clarence Ray Robertson, Aunt Susan Robertson Whitney, Aunt Nicky Robertson, and brother Donny Nelson.

Brother Donny and Megan were together the night they died. There is comfort knowing that they will forever ride together.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Chamberlain Chapel, 1700 Hwy. 20, Chadron, Nebraska. A gathering of family and friends to honor Megan’s life will be held at the Favorite Bar, 155 Main Street, Chadron, Nebraska following services.
