Mouane Sayaloune, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born on April 20, 1941, in Vientiane, Laos, and lived a life filled with love, dedication, and warmth.
For 63 years, Mouane shared a beautiful life with her husband, Khamphao. Together, they built a strong and loving family, setting an enduring example of devotion, resilience, and unity.
She was the proud mother of nine children: Damdouane, Manonam, Phetmany, Malaysy, Malychanh, Malychone, Thavivone, Voradeth, and Detsinh. Along with their spouses, who became treasured members of her family, she lovingly welcomed them all into her heart. Her legacy continues through her 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her joy and carry forward her spirit.
Mouane was known for her kindness, wisdom, and gentle care toward all who were fortunate to know her. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and warmth—a place where family and friends felt embraced by her presence and where there was always food for any child who was hungry. She will be remembered not only for her deep devotion to her family but also for the lasting relationships she nurtured throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. A celebration of Mouane’s life was held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., attended by all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
