Neil Zetah

In loving memory Neil Zetah. 

Neil passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with his wife Janet, and his brother Roger by his side.

 A celebration of Life will be on June 12, 2026, @ 3:00 pm. At the Bible Fellowship Church,1212 E. Fairmont Blvd, Rapid City, SD.

Neil was born in Little Falls, MN, on February 5, 1959, to Gerald and Rosalia Zetah. He attended school in Motley, MN. After graduation, Neil went on to Brown Institute (Broadcasting & Technology) in MN.

He was in radio for several years as an announcer, and wrote commercials, then turning his talent and interest to Graphic Engineering.

Neil had a deep love for the Black Hills and the outdoors. Neil battled Parkinson’s Disease for over 20 years. No matter how much pain or discomfort he was in, he always stayed positive. He would often say “I may have Parkinson’s, but Parkinson’s doesn’t have me.” One of his favorite highlights was spending the day with Actor Micheal J Fox, on a hike and having lunch in the middle of a wheat field.

He was a big fan of the Minnesota Twins. Neil was a meaningful part of Black Hills Exteriors, from the beginning. He designed the Logo and stood alongside of Janet as one of the biggest supporters as Trevor and Chad built the company. Neil was creative, funny & generous with his time, supported events throughout the area captured moments through photography & Video, and spent countless hours turning those into memories that made us laugh and enjoyed being a part of something special.

Neil loved Janet, all the kids, grandkids, and family dearly. We can all be assured that Neil can walk, run, and talk again. Doing all the things he loved to do.

He is survived by his wife Janet Zetah, SD. Children: Stefanie (Sister Giovanna Maria) NJ, Brittany (Josh) Gladfelter, Colo. Tyler Zetah, SD. Katie (Jon) Jarnig, ND, and Trevor Schmidt, SD. Sibling, Bruce Zetah, MN. Joyce (Mark) Lindner, MN. Roger (Molly) Zetah, AZ. Donna Zetah, MN. Carol Zetah, MN. JoAnn (Ken) Jablonski, AZ. Numerous Nephews & Nieces. Preceded in Death by parents: Gerald & Rosalia Zetah, Grandparents, In-Laws Harold & Ann McConkey

Deeply missed by family & friends and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He left an impact on all.
