Roger William Voss was born on September 27, 1939 in Hay Springs, Nebraska to Irene Sylvia Holzberger Voss and Julius Christian Voss He left this earth on December 25, 2020 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was a victim of COVID.
Roger went to grade school at the Lone Pine School and graduated from Gordon High School. He was a Gordon resident. Roger drove truck and farmed for many years. He had a lifelong love of horses and had registered Quarter Horses for 50 years.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Irene and Julius Voss and grandparents George and Minnie Holzberger and Otto and Eda Voss.
He is survived by one sister Rita Rodgers of Hastings, NE, nieces Julie (Brian) Willcock and Kristine (Terry) Gayman of Hastings, nephews Jon Rodgers of Hastings and Aaron Rodgers of Lincoln, also great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tri-State Cowboy Museum in Gordon, NE, on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1:00 PM.
