Stacy Borm

STACY LEIGH (Katen) BORM, 54, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Chadron, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado, surrounded by family.

Stacy was born on September 2, 1971, at Chadron to Duane and Sally (Tyree) Katen. Stacy graduated from Chadron High School with the class of 1989. Stacy married Cory Borm on June 5, 1992 in Chadron. To this union four children were born, Joshua, Kaitlin, Colton and Cooper. The family eventually made their home in Cheyenne for over 30 years. Stacy worked for the State of Wyoming and was an active member in the bowling community. Stacy loved spending time with her family as a mother and a grandmother. She spent many years on the sidelines at sporting events supporting her children. She was a believer in Our Savior Jesus Christ.

Stacy was preceded in death by her infant brother, Brian Katen; maternal grandparents, Roy and Edith Tyree; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Joan Katen; and in-laws, Bill and Dianne Borm.

Survivors include her husband, Cory of Cheynne, WY; parents, Duane and Sally of Chadron, NE; brothers, Jeffrey (Christina) Katen and Curtis Katen of Phoenix, AZ; children, Joshua (Elizabeth) Borm of Omaha, NE, Kaitlin (Paul) Barker of Loup City, NE; Colton (Elizabeth) Borm of Fort Campbell, KY; and Cooper Borm of Cheyenne, WY; 3 grandchildren, JJ, Everleigh, and Griffin; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of life and memorial services will be held at a later date
