Dec 31 2017 Sylvia Kelso passed away in Chadron, Nebraska at her son's house with her 3 children by her side. Sylvia Kelso was born Sylvia Trego in Ohio on 11-5-1941. Sylvia married the love of her life Robert Edwin Kelso 11-10-1963. Sylvia had 3 children residing in Detroit, Michigan and enjoyed attending pow wows around the country. Sylvia was very active in the Native American community. Sylvia later moved to Hot Springs, South Dakota in 1996 bringing with her the 2 youngest children. where she continued to be active in the Native American Culture. Sylvia lost her husband Robert in August of 2000. Sylvia moved to Chadron, Nebraska in 2002 where she enjoyed the remaining years of her life watching her grandchildren grow and shopping for bargains on the home shopping networks.

Sylvia is survived by her 3 children.

Funeral services for Sylvia Kelso of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at 2:00PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Doctor Russ Seger officiating.
Mrs. Kelso passed away on December 31, 2017 in Chadron, Nebraska.

Sylvia was born on November 5, 1941 in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was 76.

A memorial has been established for the Circle of Light. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
