Tamara Kae Riggs, affectionately known as Tamy, graced this world with her warmth and love beginning on October 26, 1958, in Lander, Wyoming. She departed this life on January 27, 2026, leaving behind an indelible mark upon all who knew her.

Tamy was celebrated for her deep devotion to family and friends, a testament to her unwavering belief that once she liked someone, they became a cherished friend for life. Her loving nature was complemented by her vibrant spirit, which drew many into a close-knit circle of support and generosity. Tamy exemplified the essence of familial bonds, always ensuring that those around her felt valued and cherished.

An avid collector, Tamy found joy in adorning her surroundings with turtles and garden gnomes, tokens of whimsy that reflected her playful personality. Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, laughter, and countless memories shared with those she loved.

In her passing, Tamy leaves behind her beloved family. She is survived by her sons, Heath Riggs, Tristin Riggs, and Zac Riggs as well as their families. Heath, alongside his wife Lisa, forged a legacy through their children, including granddaughter Sydney (Brady) and great-grandson Boden Beitz, grandson Ralph Jack (RJ), and great-great-granddaughter Mazie Mae. Tristin, with his wife Toi, nurtures a beautiful family with grandchildren Jaydlyn (Wrangler) and great-grandsons Jeremy and Baylor, in addition to great-granddaughter Mackenzzy Youel and granddaughter Shay Riggs, who together honor the vivacious spirit of their mother and grandmother. Also surviving are granddaughter Krystyn Riggs and great-grandson Jackson Dillon.

Tamy's legacy is further carried on by her third son, Zac, married to Amy, and their progeny. Grandsons Wade and Gavin, as well as granddaughters Josi and Danielle Pinter, along with great-granddaughters Kiana and Stella, shall remember her fondly and keep her memory alive in their hearts.

Her cherished siblings, the brothers James (Susan), Mike (Kathy) Tollman, and sisters Linda (Larry Pettipiece) and Diane (Don Rosentrater) Tollman, alongside step-brothers Rick, Steve, Bob, and step-sister Donna, steadfastly mourn her loss while cherishing the countless memories created together.

While the pain of her passing is profound, Tamy is reunited in spirit with her beloved parents, George Tollman and Anna Mae Reece, and her stepfather Bob Reece. She will forever watch over the great-granddaughter Remi Beitz, who now resides in eternal peace.

In lamenting her departure, we also celebrate a life well-lived — a life filled with compassion, laughter, and love. Tamara Kae Riggs will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, an enduring reminder of the power of kindness and the beauty of connection.

We will be having a celebration of life later in the spring.  This is to insure better weather and gathering.
