Wanda Hessler

Wanda Marie Hessler, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on October 8, 1951, Wanda lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to those around her. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard Hessler, and a loving mother to her children, John, Angela, and Benjamin. Wanda’s family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Barbara Bohnenkamp, Justin Toof and spouse Kay Toof, Jesse Toof, Jolleen Toof, and Matthew Hessler and spouse Beth Hessler. Wanda was also blessed with great-grandchildren Tristan, Joclynn, Braxtyn, Hazel, Marty, Conner, Lydia, Delilah, Braylee, and Seth, each of whom brought her great joy and happiness.

Wanda dedicated much of her life to hard work and caring for others. She proudly managed Pizza Hut for 35 years, where she became known for her leadership, dedication, and strong work ethic. She later spent 12 years working at Chadron Community Hospital, where she continued to touch the lives of many. The hospital staff honored Wanda with a beautiful send-off, reflecting the love and appreciation they had for her.

Wanda will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her commitment to her work, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
