Barbara was born in Rushville, at the Rushville Hospital on December 28, 1969. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1989. After graduating she worked at the Excel Packing Plant in Schyler, Nebraska. She has also worked as a maid at the Antler’s Motel, a clerk at Family Dollar and worked housekeeping at the Parkview Lodge Assisted Living. Barbara’s go to job was always babysitting. Barbara started babysitting at a young age, watching cousins, and later watching the kids of the cousins. Barbara loved kids and babysitting, whether cousins or friends’ kids. Barbara had a strong love for her cousins. No matter where Barbara’s jobs or adventures took her, she always made her way to her mother’s side.
Barbara was always down for anything. She was always ready for an adventure, from late night cruises, dirt road tag, play dates at the park, cards, fishing, horseshoes, or pool. She was up for it all.
Barbara always met people with a smile and called them by their name and asked how they were.
